The Weekly Reset

A 20-minute ritual that stops Monday from ambushing you: close last week's open loops, choose three anchors for the week ahead, and pre-decide the defaults that usually eat you alive.

1

Close loops before making plans. Unfinished business is cognitive rent — every open loop quietly drains focus. Sweep them into one list first; decide what actually carries forward.

2

Three anchors, not thirty tasks. A week with three anchored outcomes is a good week. Everything else is supporting cast.

3

Pre-decide the defaults. ADHD brains struggle most with in-the-moment choices. Decide once, here, when nothing is urgent — then the week just executes the decision.

This Week's Reset

Open-loop sweep — what's still rattling from last week?

Loose ends, unanswered messages, half-finished things, promises made. Park them all here — no filtering yet.

Carry forward or kill? Mark each loop C (carry) or K (consciously drop)

Dropping is a decision, not a failure. A dropped loop costs nothing; an undecided one costs focus all week.

The week's three anchors

If these three happen by Friday, the week wins — regardless of what else burns.
