The ADHD Daily Plan Sheet

One page built on the five features that actually work for an ADHD brain — a time-boxed day, micro-steps, an open parking lot, one priority, zero setup. Print a stack and plan each day in five minutes.

How to Use This

1

Plan in five minutes, morning or night

Write the date and today's ONE priority — if that happens, the day wins. Then drop up to three anchors into time boxes with a first step each. Everything else that's rattling around goes to the parking lot, not on the page.

2

Keep the parking lot open all day

Whenever a stray thought buzzes in, write it down and let it go. Capture in under three seconds. The sheet is undated — miss a day, a week, whatever. It works the moment you pick it back up.

3

Shut down in three minutes

Each evening, tick the three "did I?" boxes. No verdicts, no guilt spiral — if the day collapsed, the plan broke, not you. Write tomorrow's one priority so tomorrow starts before you wake up.

📋 My ADHD Daily Plan

Fill this in tonight or first thing. A4, one page per day. Print five — future-you will need them.

📅 Date & the ONE priority
Date:

If this one thing happens today, the day wins — no matter what else burns.

Today's ONE:
First step (make it tiny):
Time box:
⏳ Three time-boxed anchors (max)

A grid does the duration-estimating your brain can't. If it isn't in a box with a start time, it isn't planned. Write the first step, not the project name.

Anchor 1

Task:
First step:fromto

Anchor 2

Task:
First step:fromto

Anchor 3 (only if the day can hold it)

Task:
First step:fromto
🧠 The parking lot (brain dump)

Anything that buzzes in during the day goes here. It's captured, so your brain can let go. Sweep it tonight — carry forward or consciously drop.

🌙 The 3-minute shutdown (evening)
Did I touch today's ONE priority?
Did I sweep the parking lot — carry forward or drop?
Is tomorrow's ONE priority written below?
Tomorrow's ONE:
Carry-over (if today collapsed):

If the day went sideways, the plan broke — not you. Salvage it with the Daily Reset and start again tomorrow.

📏 The 5 rules (print these)
  • Capture in under 3 seconds. If writing it down takes longer than the thought takes to arrive, it won't happen.
  • Boxes beat lists. A time grid does the estimating your ADHD brain can't.
  • Write the first step. "Start the report" beats "write report" every single time.
  • One priority, three anchors. A 12-item list is a wish, not a plan.
  • Zero setup. Undated, one page, five minutes. Miss a week? Pick it back up — no guilt, no blank-book shame.

Why This Layout Works

The full guide breaks down the five features — why visible time boxes beat blank lists, why micro-steps trick a frozen brain into starting, and what the fluff planners get wrong.
